From Iwachu Casting Works, this tetsubin teapot is made entirely of cast iron. The inside of the teapot is coated with enamel and has, as well, a removable stainless steel infuser basket which makes it easy to brew your favorite loose tea leaves. This teapot has an elegantly simple black metal handle and is decorate with slightly raised burnished gold cherry blossoms. Complete with the Iwashu trademark just below the spout, this teapot comes with an instruction leaflet which briefly describes the background of Iwachu teapots, the process of making them, and they way to care for your teapot. Packaged in an attractive paper box, this teapot is only intended to be used for brewing tea and cannot be used over an open flame.
