Made in Japan from quality ceramic, this Japanese soup bowl set features a relaxed puffer fish, also known as “fugu” in Japanese, nestled in the center of each bowl. These fish are relaxed, harmless and willing to share bowl space with a serving of rice, ice cream and other edibles. The Japanese soup bowl set of two ceramic bowls are tan and brown, each featuring the outline image of a puffer fish at bottom of bowl, accompanied by a series of Japanese characters. A brown band encircles the exterior of the Japanese soup bowls to give a more interesting look to these traditional style bowls. Bowls are not microwave or dishwasher safe.
