Not intended for stove top use, this cast iron tea kettle is perfect for brewing your favorite loose tea leaves in a more traditional style Japanese cast iron teapot, also known as tetsubin teapots.
With a bumpy iron surface, this cast iron tea kettle features hexagonal shapes all throughout the upper half of the teapot. If looked closely, these hexagonal shaped resemble a multi petal flower in an abstract form. The bottom of the teapot has a smoother but bumpy design, while the handle is a simple iron handle.
Made in Japan by the well-known tetsubin teapot crafters, Iwachu, this cast iron tea kettle also comes with a removable stainless steel tea infuser basket which is perfect for putting your loose tea leaves in to brew tea. Simply pour in your desired amount of tea leaves into the basket, then fill with hot water until the leaves are covered. Packaged in a branded paper gift box perfect for gift-wrapping.
