Our Return Policy
How to Return Merchandise:
Step 1: Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#)
Merchandise for return must be reported to us within 30 days of receipt via e-mail at email@example.com in order to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA). Returns without the RMA number will be subject to a delay in processing. The returned merchandise must be received by us within 30 days. Mrs. Lin's Kitchen is unable to process returns that are not reported and received within this time frame.
Step 2: Fill out Return Copy
Please include the following information on the Return Copy, which can be found on the back of the Packing List under the Return and Exchange Policy. You must include: the order #, the RMA #, product #, product name, reason code (see below) as well as any comments.Also write the RMA # on the address label which is adjacent to the Return Copy.
Reason Code for Return and Exchange:
1. Product not as expected (please explain)
2. Do not like
3. Arrived damaged
5. Incorrect item received
6. Wrong item ordered
7. Changed my mind
8. Arrived late
9. Other reason (please explain)
Step 3: Packing for Return
Merchandise must be returned in new and unused condition in its original packaging and include all accessories and instruction manuals. Please securely wrap the package with sufficient cushioning to prevent damage during shipping. Separate the address label from the Return Copy and place the Return Copy inside the box with the merchandise.
Step 4: Shipping the Package
Affix the address label to the outside of the package; don’t forget to write the RMA # on the address label. For your protection, we suggest you ship your returns via a traceable or insured shipping method such as UPS, FedEx, or insured USPS. Mrs. Lin’s Kitchen is not responsible for lost or damaged packages returned from you and will be unable to issue a refund if this happens. Please save your shipping receipt until the refund transaction is complete.
Step 5: Wait for Response
Once the returned item(s) are received, we will inspect the merchandise and issue a refund if it meets the conditions we have described in our policy. If the product(s) you are claiming were lost or damaged, you will have to submit the claim directly to the carrier. Mrs. Lin’s Kitchen will notify you if this occurs. If the products have already been used, no refund will be issued. If the original packaging and accessories are not included in the return, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee. Shipping costs are not refundable. In addition, gift wrap charges are not refundable and cannot be accepted as a return.
Please expect 2 to 4 weeks for processing your return. Once the return has been processed, Mrs. Lin’s Kitchen will send you a refund notice with an itemized credit memo via email. All refunds will be posted to the original credit card used to process the order. It may take 2-3 days for your bank to post the refund to your account. Due to the billing cycles, the refund may appear on a later statement than your original order.
The following merchandise may not be returned or exchanged.
· Food Products
· Any opened Electrical items (including rice cookers and thermo air pots)
· Any other merchandise that is not new or in used condition, without intact accessories and not in the original packaging.
· Special Orders, Custom Orders and Volume Orders
· All Clearance Items
How to Exchange Merchandise:
Please follow the same procedures for returning merchandise and place another order for the item you wish to purchase instead. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing your new order. All items that arrive as an exchange will be processed in the same way as a return.
Return and Exchange Procedure for Gift Recipient:
Please follow the same procedures for return and exchanges as described above. The exception being that the refund amount will only be given in the form of a store credit.
Our Damage and Defective Policy:
All damaged and defective products must be shipped back to us following the same Return Procedure as listed above. Upon receipt, we will inspect the merchandise and process either a refund or replacement accordingly.
