Safe for use in the dishwasher and stove top, this durable earthen donabe clay pot consists of a wide bowl and handled lid featuring easy-to-grip raised white ribbing. This pot is also as lovely as it is versatile; its natural cream background is accented by bouquets of lively blue and pink flowers painted on its lid.

Except for a small smooth segment along the top of the bowl, this multi-use pot has a sanded texture; this porous surface allows the earthen donabe clay pot to be placed directly over a heated range or portable stove.

This family-style pot is similar in function and style to our series of smaller and individual-serving donabe pots. Each pot comes shipped securely in a brown paper box.
