Known as wakasa nuri hashi, which can be translated into "wakasa lacquered chopsticks", this pair of gorgeous Japanese lacquered chopsticks is part of a long tradition of fine chopsticks
crafting from the Fukui prefecture of Japan since the Edo period.
The production method of these wakasa Japanese lacquered chopsticks is painstakingly intensive with layers upon layers of lacquered applied up to fifty times. Design are either polished or carved to create the final product.
