3 CUPS ONLY. NO TEAPOT.
Korean Celadon is an art form that is 1500 years old. Celadon was the porcelain of choice by the Koryo Dynasty, which reigned until 1396 A.D. Today the art of making celadon exists as a cottage industry and is concentrated in two villages in central South Korea. In order to create the flower pattern in this tea set, the Korean artists carve the flower shape out of the formed greenware. Two different clays are then inlaid to fill in the flower form and the tea set is then glazed and fired twice. A very sturdy and heavy tea set that is beautifully handcrafted with extreme detailing. This set includes three teacups only. Made in Korea.
