The color is beautiful and the texture is pleasant, they look delicate. As the other reviewer has pointed, these saucers are tiny. They are large enough to cover (as a lid) the matching tea mugs from this product line. You could fit about 4 candies on one saucer, or few pieces of cheese, or few cookies.

I use this saucer to cover the matching mug to make coffee or tea. The material of these saucers and mugs is perfect for keeping proper temperature balance to "brew" coffee. Coffee "brewed" in these mugs covered with saucer tastes much better/richer than from a french press.

Not really saucers, but use them more than I thought. Turns out they are really great for kitty-size morsels. Very handy that they go in the dishwasher. They are just the right size for a teaspoonful of cat treat. They do not have saucer ring, so not really for a cup. They are not really deep enough to substitute as trays for soy sauce. When my niece was little, we used to use them for playing "farmer's market" too. They go well with the 4" bowls & stack nicely with the 4" bowls and are easy to fit in the cupboard. I actually use them quite a bit, and also for cooking prep when pre-measuring ingredients (1 tsp etc). I have had them since at least 2007 probably earlier, this review is dated 2014.

The saucers I ordered arrived as expected, in excellent condition and in a timely manner. These lovely cherry blossom sushi sauce plates match other plates of this pattern. They are delicate but sturdy and very pretty on the table.

I wasn't sure if I could use these, since I didn't buy the mugs in this pattern. They are great for very small side dishes, such as cucumber salad or pickled garlic--things you only eat a few bites of. They'd probably be good for serving small candy favors or anything else mini-sized.
