They're not so great, though, for anyone whose teeth are sensitive to the touch of metal. That's where melamine spoons come in. This speckled beige spoon has a deeper base than ordinary spoons and is tough enough to withstand any steaming hot bowl of soup. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Made in China.

Not just for chinese food.

Classic design soup spoon good for Chinese soup, but great for a variety of everyday foods. Shape keeps food on the spoon and reduces spills.

I love to get won ton soup and eat it with these spoons. But they can be used so many more ways - my grandkids love them for breakfast cereal even! And they don't spill as much as conventional spoons. I love to order these spoons because they are inexpensive enough that I can order a variety to everyone can have one that suits their taste!
