Detailed Description
Piping hot tea is the only thing this egg is going to hatch. This fascinating teapot stands out from the crowd of boring stainless steel and ceramic pots found at department stores. Your friends and family will be dazzled by the teapots mustard yellow and black color combination and carefully sculpted dragons. The large mother dragon, which forms both the handle and the spout, guards her large speckled egg from predators. A tiny dragon also perches atop the egg, acting as a lid handle. The pear-skin textured pot has a built in infuser at the spout. Made in Yixing, China, the clay piece retains heat well and captures the flavor of the tea brewed within it. Over time, your favorite tea will gain a richer, more complex flavor from the collected sediments in the clay. This large teapot comes in a hard shell gift box. Made in Japan.
