After coming to the US close to thirty years ago from Taiwan, Mrs. Lin has always been asked about her culture and food. She loves to cook and is always eager to share her culture. Twelve years ago, she walked away from corporate America and founded Mrs. Lin's Kitchen. Based on her passion for food and Asian culture, Mrs. Lin's goal was to build a bridge between East and West through the culinary. At the time, the company's emphasis was on Asian food and ingredients, as well as related products such as tea ware and sake sets. The Internet was just starting to gain popularity, and posed as the perfect platform for anyone interested in Asian food. Though she encountered countless obstacles in her pursuit of efficiency and quality, she received constant inspiration from her loyal customers. Despite all the challenges, she persevered and the company continues to grow.

Over time, Mrs. Lin wanted to give her customers a broader taste of Asian culture, and began adding non-food categories, showcasing distinctively Asian kitchen, home and gift items.
